How Soon is Mars?

Last Hyena are an instrumental math/post-rock band from Bristol, UK. For their sophomore album, How Soon is Mars?, they wanted cover art that was spacey, explosive and somehow featured their animal namesake.

The album was released digitally and on 12” vinyl, so the artwork was expanded to complete the physical packaging design.

Two singles with covers in the same style were also put out in the run-up to the album, making the whole campaign look nice and cohesive.
